Kanpur: On Monday, Police Commissioner BP Jogdand has given instructions for investigation regarding the viral video on social media of misbehaving with a woman. In the viral video, a sub-inspector is seen thrashing a woman by putting his hand around her neck. The viral video is being told of Vishdhan village of Kakwan police station area. Sub-Inspector Garvit Tyagi, posted at Kakwan police station in Kanpur, had gone to collect the notice in Tamila’s case.

The matter was related to the love marriage of an adult youth and a girl. The sub-inspector had forcibly taken the girl to the police station and reached there without a female constable, where he abused her while forcibly bringing her. Talking about human rights and police rules, it has been declared illegal to arrest any woman without a female policeman. While in the viral video, the accused sub-inspector is seen forcibly abusing the woman, flouting all the police rules. The relatives of the victim girl made a video of the indecency of the policeman
