South Superstar Kamal Haasan has once again given a controversial statement on Hindi. Kamal retweeted a video of John Brittas, MP from Kerala, saying that learning or speaking another language is a personal choice. It is foolish to impose Hindi on others. Whatever is imposed will be opposed.

This tweet of Kamal is in Tamil. While sharing the video, MP Britas wrote – Your nefarious intention of imposing Hindi will ruin this country. If Sundar Pichai had given the exam in Hindi in IIT, would he have been on the top post in Google?

First read Kamal Haasan’s tweet
Kamal wrote- “Mother tongue is our birthright. Learning and using other languages is a matter of personal choice. This has been the right of South India for the last 75 years. The same will be seen in the North East as well. Development of Hindi and To impose it on others is ignorance. What is imposed will be opposed.”

Kamal warned in another tweet: “The same thing is clearly visible in Kerala. The same thing has been said for half of India. Beware, Pongal is coming. Oh! Sorry, you are easy to understand.” Yes, for this ‘keep awake..

The South actor’s comment comes a day after he participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Kamal Haasan took part in the Bharat Jodo Yatra which reached Delhi on 24 December. He was also seen discussing with Rahul.

Now know what Britas said in Parliament
Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Communist Party of India (Marxist) MP John Brittas objected to the use of Hindi as the medium of instruction in Central Universities. Britas said – Thousands of North Indian students study in South. If they are forced to study in Tamil, Malayalam or Kannada, most of them will go back. Imagine what would have happened if Sundar Pichai was forced to take the IIT exam in Hindi, would he have been the top executive of Google today?

Rahul also opposed studies in Hindi in Alwar
During Bharat Jodo Yatra in Alwar, Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi had said that BJP leaders do not want English to be taught in schools. But the children of all their leaders go to English schools. In fact, they don’t want the children of poor farmers and laborers to learn English, dream big and get out of the fields. Keep in mind if you want to talk with Americans Hindi will not work.
