The Kinnar community, traditionally marginalized but deeply connected to the story of Lord Shri Ram, is fervently preparing for the sacred event. With joyous celebrations and auspicious songs echoing through the streets, the Kinnar community is eagerly awaiting the momentous occasion. The atmosphere is vibrant as preparations for the grand festival on January 22 are underway.

Mahamandaleshwar Kaushalyanand Giri Maharaj, a prominent figure from the Kinnar Akhara and a senior member of the UP Kinnar Welfare Board, shared insights into the community’s involvement. He highlighted the historical significance of the Kinnar community’s connection with Lord Shri Ram, tracing it back to the time when, upon Lord Ram’s departure to exile, the Kinnar mothers voluntarily joined the 14-year journey. Even upon Lord Ram’s return after the victorious battle, the eunuch mothers performed his aarti, establishing a timeless connection.

The Kinnar community’s excitement and involvement in the upcoming consecration are palpable. Swami Kaushalya Nand Giri, also known as Tina Maa, is actively engaged in preparations alongside fellow members, eagerly anticipating the moment when Lord Ram Lalla will be seated in the sanctum sanctorum in Ayodhya. Their preparations signify their deep-rooted reverence and devotion to Lord Shri Ram.
