In a bid to ensure seamless preparations for the upcoming Mahakumbh 2025, Vijay Kiran Anand, accompanied by key officials, conducted a comprehensive inspection of ongoing projects in the Sangam city of Prayagraj.
The official delegation commenced their assessment at the Municipal Corporation’s material recovery facility in Naini, designed to handle 10 tons/day, where recyclable materials are sorted and readied. Anand urged officials to escalate efforts to enhance the facility’s capacity to a robust 50 tons/day within the span of two months. Additionally, the under-construction Bio CNG plant in Naini underwent scrutiny, with Anand emphasizing the imperative of timely completion and requested a detailed project schedule for monitoring purposes.
Continuing the inspection, attention shifted to the Prayagraj Development Authority’s road construction project, spanning from Old Yamuna Bridge to Leprosy Crossing. Anand stressed the need for uncompromising quality, specifically directing officials to adhere strictly to the prescribed plans for drainage and widening endeavors. The examination further extended to the newly erected pink toilet facility at the medical intersection, prompting Anand to task a comprehensive assessment aimed at identifying potential enhancements for these facilities.
“The Mahakumbh holds immense cultural and religious significance, and it’s imperative that our preparations reflect the grandeur of this event,” stated Anand, emphasizing the gravity of the meticulous planning and execution required.
The inspection aimed at ensuring that all preparatory initiatives align with the stringent standards mandated for the Mahakumbh 2025, underscoring the importance of timely and quality completion of these crucial infrastructural projects
