Telangana politics heated up as Republic Day celebrations took place. CM KCR did not attend the Republic celebrations held at Raj Bhavan today. As per the protocol, apart from government officials, ministers but no other leaders were also present. The comments made by Governor Tamilisai who participated in the celebrations have now become a hot topic. BRS leaders are giving a counter to her indirect comments on Sarkar. Gutta Sukhender and minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav have already criticized the governor.. Kalvakuntla countered Tamilisai with a tweet.
BRS has demanded the central government to pay special attention to the country’s infrastructure rather than the central vista in difficult times like Corona. Kavitha said that they are fighting not only for the wealth of a few but also to care for the youth, farmers and laborers. But on such a special day, Kavitha tweeted thanking the Governor for asking the same questions as CM KCR

What is the governor?
“The state came about after six decades of people’s struggle. Many people sacrificed their lives. Telangana became a separate state according to the constitution. Central government has taken many programs for Telangana. Raj Bhavan is contributing to the development of the state. Measures have been taken to prevent anemia among girls and women. We organized medical camps in tribal areas. Building new buildings is not development. Real development is nation building. Farmers should have fields and houses. Not farmhouses. That is not development. Everyone should be involved in development. World-class infrastructure in our universities is the real development. It is not true development that only our children should study abroad.
60 percent of our country is youth. We are young India. An average of 22 people commit suicide every day in Telangana. Youth should be self-confident and stand like a rock. Face anything. Self-confidence is what keeps you going. We appeal to the youth to participate in the G20 conference. Let’s maintain Telangana’s self-respect.. Let’s protect Telangana’s democracy. Let us uphold the right of Telangana,” said Tamilisai Soundararajan. Kavita’s tweet with Governor’s comments now goes viral.
