Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking incident reported from Madhya Pradesh, a girl was brutally assaulted and kicked by a youth in full public view in the Rewa district. A video of the entire incident has gone viral on social media since Saturday morning.

Based on the video, which has been doing rounds on the internet, the Madhya Pradesh police have taken suo moto cognizance of the incident and registered a case against the unknown youth. Police have started an investigation to identify the girl and the youth in the video.
The viral video shows, the youth slapping and punching the girl. Later, when the girl falls, the youth purportedly starts kicking her brutally. Though the incident took place in the broad daylight, no one came to the girl’s rescue. Instead, the bystanders recorded the assault on their mobile phone cameras and remained mute spectators.
